Lush: Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar Review

(Hello everyone I am back, sorry about the absence I had tons of A Level exams to deal with and tons of hours at work meaning I was just too tired to blog :( however yay for summer being just around the corner!)

R.R.P - £2.90

Lush Says - "Practically perfect in every way, pop this mandarin and orange flower bubble bar into your tub for mounds of bright bubbles."

This bomb sure did deliver, look at all these bubbles, with bright green water too! Now I know what you're thinking, 'ewww green water!' but this bath bomb was ever so lovely. The more I use Lush bath bombs the more I seem to really love them! My favorite bit about this one was the gorgeous decoration of the little flower contrasting with the bright green colour. However for the 'overall bath experience' the scent of the bomb was ever so relaxing (I like to use them before going to work!) and sure did make me skin feel ever so smooth.

I absolutely loved this bath bomb and have to get my mitts on some more! Anyone got any recommendations for me? :)

Lush Wishlist

 photo lol_zpsdd201527.png
Now I love Lush as much as the next girl but I never find time to go in plus I never know what to look for! However as my first year of college comes to a close and I'm sitting my last exam (June 5th!) I thought I would gather a huge Lush wishlist and spend spend spend! once I've finished which I'm now rather excited about as there are ton's of products I want to try.

First off the Lush face masks, I really want to try them! Every time I pop into Lush this is the first place I head to, they smell and look wonderful and it's just finding the right one to try first. On my list I have Cupcake and Love Lettuce as starting points as I haven't really looked at any others. Next on my list are some of their hand and foot potions. One potion on my list - the 'Volcano' foot mask I've tried before and adored so that'll be a repurchase for me! Also I would love to try some cleansers, I just want lovely looking skin and products that smell divine!

Another favorite I've seen which are very cheap in my opinion are the solid perfumes. They start from £5 and I've got my eye on 'Lust' and 'Imogen Rose' after seeing some lovely reviews on Ali's blog, they look like a really good concept. Plus a girl can never have too many perfumes!

What Lush product would you recommend?

Think Pink Bath Ballistic // Review

I recently won a giveaway for a Lush gift set and I couldn't wait for it to arrive, one of the items inside was this cute little bath bomb. It smelt absolutely amazing, also when picking it up it was rather crumbly so I was very excited to use it!

"Bathe in sweet, fragrant pinkness with an explosion of confetti hearts."

Looking at it un-melted the bomb is very pink, girly and cute full of flowers. It smelt very pink and girly so I couldn't wait to get it in the bath. Little did I know that once melted it held little confetti hearts inside! That was the best bit about this bomb for me, normally I don't like them but for this particular one I felt in fit in very well with the 'pink and girly' theme so I didn't mind.

As you can see the water went a very nice pale pinky colour which looked very relaxing and inviting. The water smelt ever so wonderful, the website hints at vanilla with ingredients so maybe that's why it smelt so nice! Now for me this bomb smells nice and looks nice but because it's so pink I think I'll invest in some of the bombs I haven't tried yet instead of repurchasing this :)

lush - melting snowman

Like many other girlies out there for Christmas I got a gorgeous inspired Lush boxset which was to die for, it smelt wonderful. Inside I received;
The Melting Snowman!
Now I could smell this baby as soon as I opened the box, he smelt wonderful. I can't quite put my finger on it but to me it smelt spicy and cosy, it reminded me just a little bit of home.

Lush Says..
"Melt this spicy hot toddy snowman into your bath for a magical moisturizing soak."

And that it was. It made the water feel all soft and kinda comfortable but also the smell, it stayed until I got out and it smelt wonderful, that added to the melt itself. It made me feel relaxed and cosy and it just smelt wonderful. Also it gave the bath a kind of yellow-ish tinge which just reminded me of Autumn.
My favorite thing is that afterwards my skin felt soften and almost relaxed. Not only did this bath melt smell gorgeous and work very well it also looked adorable. I know for definitely I'll be picking this up at Christmas, it's all you could want in a bath melt and the smell lingers, nothing better!

Have you tried the Melting Snowman for Lush's Christmas range?

Christmas Shopping!

I now have a working memory card for my camera which means more posting so sorry about the small hiatus. This week I went Christmas shopping because I got paid on Tuesday and I also treated myself to some little bits and bobs! I did spend a great deal but some things haven't arrived but I've done well so far and only have a few more presents to get! :)

first picture; lush - snow fairy gift box,  biggest bottle of snow fairy & bubblegum lip scrub, TRESemme shampoo (£2 in asda heh), licorice sweets for a friend, paul smith aftershave for the boyfriend, botanics day cream, wooly hat and dressing grown from primark, i also got a lovely deal on krispy kreme doughts which was 24 for £8... i did share don't worry!

third picture; lovely wrapping paper and tags, cute penguin cards for work friends, close family cards, more TRESemme shampoo & condition, more sweets for friends and also my little brother.

Overall you can probably see that I spent a lot.. However I am sorted for Christmas and I'm so happy I can say that! I ended up treating myself to the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub which smells/tastes amazing I love it! I also stocked up on my favorite shampoo due to a brilliant bargain, a lovely wooly hat and a new dressing gown which are both so so soft. I also got the Krispy Kreme doughnuts on a whim and shared them all with a few friends me and my boy met up with.

I'll probably have another Christmas update soon round about my next payday, still so much to buy! Plus I want my own big bottle of snow fairy! I've seen some lovely items that I would badly like for Christmas such as knee length docs filled with fair, it's just the £105 price tag does put me off a little. However this week has been lovely even being at college it's just a shame about the cold weather.

How's your week been so far?

Birthday Wishlist!

As your all aware (or not) my birthday is on the 23rd of this month (next week!) I turn 17 and normally at this stage all you get is money to buy your own presents apart from the odd thing. I though I'd make a little wishlist just to remind myself of what I really want.

1. Lush's Love Lettuce & Cupcake - £6
These are just two of Lush's products I'd like, I want to try all of their bath bombs and face masks, I guess I'll just have to pick a few out and try them first.

2. iPod classic 60G/120G
My iPod touch has had it's run I think, 32G is just not enough space for all my apps and music combined. I think it's time for a small upgrade and I'm determined to get one of these. Their so cute and lovely. I would also love an alarm clock and speakers in one for my iPod/iPhone, I just have to find a cheapish one.

3. Strawberry & Forest Fruits lip scrub £6.95
I saw these on someones blog a while back and thought they were ever so cute and I wanted to try them. I've seem top reviews about Lush's lip scrubs and I want to see what these products are all about and if their as good as everyone's opinions.

4. Fake Jerffery Campells £34
These shoes are gorgeous. I'm not sure if I'd ever wear them but their always there if I would? These are so gorgeous and I love studded things at the moment as well as boots, I guess I'd just have to learn to walk in them?

5. Boucle Pini £30
I still really badly want this! It's so gorgeous and so cute I just hope it's in stock when I have the money to order it, it's delightful.

6. Casual Vacancy JK £12
I'm such a big fan of her and I just can't say no to her new book! You can pick it up at half price at the moment and I love hard back books so I can't wait for this one. With this I'll have her full collection which I'm very proud to say.

7. Casio Watch in purple £3.99
I've always been a fan of watches I've just never found one that suited me. This one is retro and in a gorgeous colour so I can't wait to get one, it's ever so cute.

8. Bookshelf Kindle Case £16.99
This may be verging on nearly £20 for a kindle case but it's so gorgeous and well my kindle is quite special to me (as are my books) and I'd hate for it to get damaged. This case is ever so cute and well, it's gorgeous and very 'me'.

There is so much stuff not on this list I would love to buy, if only I could remember it, look out for a big shopping haul post when my birthday does arrive because I'll not only have a big shopping spree with birthday money but I'll be getting paid as well.

What's on your wishlist this week?

Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb

I'm sure many other girls out there adore bath bombs, myself included. Yet their always pretty hard to get a hold of if you don't have a Lush in your town center. However I did and picked up this little baby with my results money. I have always loved bath bombs and I really want to start using them more. I also have quite a few lined up I want to try!

Lush says:
"Fill the bath with water, get in and release this Ickle ballistic into the water to let him do his sleep inducing work."

Like pretty much everything in the Lush store this has a lovely scent. I can't quite place what it is, I just know it smells incredible. I wanted to start off with a cheaper bath bomb from Lush to see what all the fuss was about. I also noticed after I got out of the bath the scent kind of lingered a bit which is always a plus for me.
It broke up really well in the bath which I always like, it also made the water feel really soft (that sounds so daft) but it felt lovely on my skin and the color of the bath after it had all melted looked so lovely. The blue was really nice and light and the bath itself was very relaxing. I used this before going to a night shift at work and I have to say it really relaxed me, I loved the feel of the water on my skin after it had all melted and yes the color was so lovely.
The picture doesn't credit the color, it was a little more vivid in person.
I really enjoyed using this bath bomb and it wasn't all that expensive, especially for my first one! It didn't create any bubbles which I was fussed about and also they were no little floaty bits which I do however enjoy. For my next one I think I'm going to try out Lush's Big Blue Bomb after reading Natalie's review on it, it sounds lovely!
Have you tried any of Lush's bath bombs - what did you think?
