Back to College; 2 Weeks Late!!

I'm back guys! I'm back!  It seems that Summer and a wee bit of Autumn caught up with me while I was enjoying myself but I am finally back into the swings of things with work and college life. I've treated myself to a great deal this summer which I can't wait to share with you all. However today I've got one of my favorite posts for you, a stationery haul!!! I did this literally at the beginning of my college term and everything is fabbity fab.

I just couldn't help myself to a cute pencil case that reminds me of Cath Kidson and the hello kitty pen! It just called to me, it was just so cute and I knew I had to have it oops.

I also helped myself to some funky fine liners that I didn't really need but wanted...

I hope I prepped well for college this year however a few weeks in my Bic highlighters are running out! I still need some big folders for my work, I'm hoping for some nice design-y ones and I ended up buying some Paperchase notebooks (heh). But yeah I'm all prepared especially with a new gorgeous bag which I'll include in my clothing haul tomorrow!

Most days to college my make up is quite minimalism  I tend to have my foundation on and then a bit of mascara but I decided to liven up last Monday with a bit of red and dark eyes. This is one of my favorite looks, it makes me feel quite classy for college and I had a fab outfit to match (I'll show you sometime). Also I've found a new favorite lipstick! One of Kate Moss' matt collections, the colour is to die for!! I spent all of last week wearing it, brightening my college face up just a tiny bit, I like the change :)

What's in My bag; Sixth Form Edition

Now I've seen these posts everywhere I couldn't resist and I just had to have a go! There'll probably be two types of these posts as I use different bags for college and when I go out on a normal day. I'm very nosy too and I love reading these types of posts so I hope you do too! Now I started college back in September and I have 3 lessons max a day which sometimes results in me carrying more books around but this is what my bag looks like on a normal day.

Now I absolutely adore my bag, it's a real Cambridge School Satchel that I got for £60 (retails at £100+), it's a gorgeous dark brown colour and this photo just doesn't do it any justice!

As you can see I actually fit lots of stuff into my satchel causing it to be brimming tight and ever so heavy. However some days I don't take my tablet and sometimes I only have one lesson which is a godsend! Just to pick out a few little bits my purse is from Primark and my ID case from Paperchase. Also I only carry bits and bobs of make up on me because my bag can't fit anything more, plus I find lippy and balm to be exactly what I need during the day!
Also the subjects I take at college are;

Life Update; College

I am now just over 6 months into college and I am totally loving it so far! My subjects are wonderful and my teachers even better. I love the fact we get so much freedom too, sitting drinking hot chocolate in my breaks is the best thing ever. However my exams are kind looming so much closer! My first one is sometime is May which is just a little too scary for me however I wanted to share something with you all that I feel ever so proud of. 
I know everyone's probably already seen this (if you follow me on instagram) but I'm just ever so happy. Originally my paper had be graded at a C which I thought wasn't too bad and I knew I could do better. However having only dropped 15 marks the % seemed terribly low. Turns out my teacher realized she had worked it out wrong and my grade went up to an A!
 In no way shape am I trying to show off, this was the first ever practice paper I've ever done for Psychology since starting the subject and I'm ever so proud of myself, as is everyone around me. This is the subject I hope to have a career within as I get older so this is a big confidence boost (it's kind of a hard subject yanoo) and thanks to everyone who have already ~congratulated me~ I just hope it wasn't an easy paper.

I don't tend to make this much effort with my make up very much due to hurting contact lenses and not enough time in a morning. However yesterday I didn't start till half 10 so I thought I'd give my full face a go as well as dressing to impress. A normal day is a creamy mousse foundation with a slight use of powder (my skin likes to go very dry some days!) with minimal eye make up normally resulting in mascara and a little eye shadow and lip balm.

Yesterday I thought I'd branch out back to my old ways and delve into my red lipstick and vintage flicks! This is one of my favorite make up looks ever, I just feel ever so classy. I also used my favorite lipstick by Kate Moss (seriously they are fab try them out!) which I adore but sadly my boyfriend doesn't. I always enjoy days more when I've got a bit more make up on, feels like I've really made and effort and I enjoy putting my make up on, it's a shame I hate taking it off.

Overall I've had a very lovely week, the weather may have been awful yet it's given me a fab chance to wrap up warm in all my woolly jumpers! Also both me and my boyfriend got paid so we both treated ourselves to some new goodies! I got a new dress and blazer, sent off for a graze box and I also signed up to the She Said Beauty Box which I can't wait to try out when it gets sent off later this month (October).

Remember when I thought college would be a breeze? Well it isn't! I've figured out why people don't really have a social life if their doing 4 subjects. I'm doing 4 and I picked the four that are the most complicated with the most writing! I'm slowly getting there with all my homework though, I have an history essay due and I'm already starting my English Language coursework, madness! I've also realized how hard transcribing is, boohoo.

Anyway I've got a lovely week ahead of my seeing as I'm staying at my boyfriends a few nights this week because his parents are away, I can just see it now cold nights snuggled up on the couch with films. I look forward to it, it'll be wonderful. I will probably get homework galore too! But there's one thing I'm looking forward to this month of October, my birthday! I'll be turning 17 on the 23rd so college can't be that bad. I've also been getting some results back in assessments I've done for college, I got a C in my creative writing which I'm incredibly proud of. Oh and due to the cold weather I get to sit in the college cafe and sip their lovely hot chocolates heh.

All in all this week hasn't been overly great. I've been working every single day apart from Tuesday and Friday which I'm not fussed with because I'm the one getting the big paycheck at the end of it! Anyway it was my boyfriend's 19th birthday this week and he got a new xbox, so I got the old one, which resulted in me spending money on my 'own' games, hence the mail. Which I always love getting.

I also tried the college food this week! After everyone warning me against it, it's not overly bad! The hot chocolate tastes cheap but it's actually nice... oh and the baguettes are to die for. I also found what I'm buying this week on payday, the lovely little pini will cost me £30 but honestly, no regrets it's gorgeous! Also it's now at that time of year where it's jumper time! I've had my parker on every single night this week and along with jumpers some days, it was the best coat I've ever bought. I just can't wait till it snows! I also had some assessments this week, I got a C in my English Lit which is impressive because I've only started A level and I also got a C in Psychology too, so I'm proud of myself :)

College Outfits 001

So I was wondering what to post for ages and ages when I realized, I've finished my first week of college (yes I was only in for like 3 days but oh well!) I really enjoyed myself so i thought I might as well give you all a small little insight to my week at college and why I enjoyed it.

this outfit was talked about here and was one of my first I wore to college on my second day of enrollment.

on the second line the next outfit I wore playsuit // frilly sock// creepers was the one I wore on my first day! (Thursday)

and the third outfit of all was the one I wore yesterday, simply because I was way too tired to try.

Also I got my college timetable! (^) as you can see Wednesday and Thursdays look pretty fab! The Wednesday afternoons we get off because it's for sport, but can you actually believe I'm doing a whole four subjects and still have this much free time! Also for all of you who don't know/may be interested I'm taking English Literature, English Language, Medieval History and Psychology and I actually don't think I'm going to drop/change any of them, their so good already!

The whole 'enjoying' college thing too, I'm not sure why but I guess I like the whole freedom of being trusted to go to lessons, the idea of 3 hour breaks in which to do nothing (no homework yet!) and also the fact we get to wear our own clothes. Although it currently has it's downsides. I don't know many people, we don't have our college cards and our emails don't work because for all enrichment you need to email the teachers. We also can't get lockers yet, boo!

However I can't wait till next week rolls around, I have a 10:30am start and I hope to bring you more lovely outfits I wear - I promise to make some sort of effort, even if it is make up. I also don't finish any later then 3:40pm which means yes I can blog but not all the time, I'm so tired out already and it's only my first week! But I also did get my reading list for English Lit and on there we have to read The Great Gatsby and The Secret Scripture (and some poetry) which will be fun because I haven't read either before!

College Induction OOTD & EOTD

Okay so yesterday and today's afternoon was my college enrollment (massive waste of time) however I thought this would be a chance to show off one of my outfits for college and also the make up I matched with it - please note that doing eye shadow is not one of my strong points, I just like pretty colors.  For today i though I'd whack out my new army jacket, one of the current phases everyone's going through. Now when I say I like vintage I mean it, this jacket (I think) was actually worn by someone in the US Army and also had a name tag on until it got ripped off, anyway on to the pictures!

I really do like this jacket, I've only worn it twice since I got it and I've fallen in love, it only cost me £15 too! However on to my make up of the day! 

For this I the Glitter ball palette and the shades I used shade 3 on the top row and shade 6 also on the top row. I also used 'Big fake Lashes' by Collection 2000 and I also used their pressed powder in Ivory. AS you can see it's quite plain. All I did was put a coat of sliver on top first and then went over the the green. After this I just added a tiny amount of silver just above the green! For my lashes I just added 2 coats of my Collection 2000 and that was it. I agree not my best makeup but I really liked it.
