Post Exam Stress Haul!

Hello guys! I know I've been a terrible blogger of late, I've hardly posted but the thing is I just haven't had the time, exams are creeping up on me, I've been a work a lot and I can't leave Tom out! However when next week rolls around I will be taking a small hiatus over the Whit Week and before just to crack down on some revision meaning I will try to schedule a few posts before the exams hit hard!

Mini Boots & Primark Haul

 photo DSCF7503_zps632fa1f5.jpg
So I recently had a little splurge in Boots & Primark. I know it's been Easter and some family members prefer to give me money over chocolate now I'm a little older plus I had some wages left so I thought I'd treat myself! Also I thought I would film it rather than blogging what I bought because I can never quite get my opinions over in words. I'd love it if you could subscribe to my YT here for more videos, thank you and I hope you enjoy the video! :) ♡

Busy Bee!

I've been a bad blogger I know, very bad indeed. I've been ever so busy these past few weeks, I've been working a lot, coursework has started at college and I've been Christmas shopping and spending a lot of time with my boyfriend and I haven't had much time to myself. However I will get more back into blogging as the holidays are coming up and Christmas will soon be over so I may cut my hours down at work. Today for you I have some purchases to show from when I spent a lovely weekend in Beverly!
Now I had a lovely little day out with my mum, auntie and grandma in Beverly, as it was a cold day we stopped off for a drink in Cafe Nero and had a lovely pub lunch with big burgers all round. I ended up buying some gorgeous little items as well! Also featured are my two pens from Paperchase which make writing at college so much nicer.

I got 2 pairs of jeans and the stripey top out of New Look for such a bargain! I got the 3 'classic' books for under a fiver out of a lovely little bookshop and I can't wait to sink my teeth in! I also had a little visit to the big Paperchase they have (heh) I ended up buying a new notebook for a college subject and I got 2 lovely little pens and a notebook for general items. I got the little Westie place mat for mum for Christmas she adores them and I decided to buy myself an advent calendar because I needed one for this year! I love the month were you get chocolate for breakfast.

Moving on to the make up side! Out of boots I bought the Collection 2000 mascara and got the free Bedazzel  nail polish which looks amazing on! I then went to Superdrug who had an amazing 3 for 2 offer on all cosmetics and I ended up getting and MUA lipgloss, new face powder and my trusty eyeliner from Collection 2000.

Overall I didn't spend as much as I thought as I got some lovely bargains. Since then I've tried the free nail polish and it looks fab on which I'm grateful I picked up. In the coming days from me you can expect some small reviews on my favorite items from the past few weeks, my empties from November and also my December She Said Beauty Box when it arrives. I know this post is rather overdue as are some others but I hope you can forgive me, this time of month does get rather stressful. I still haven't done all of my Christmas shopping either boohoo.

However one question, have you done all your Christmas shopping? :)

Christmas Shopping!

I now have a working memory card for my camera which means more posting so sorry about the small hiatus. This week I went Christmas shopping because I got paid on Tuesday and I also treated myself to some little bits and bobs! I did spend a great deal but some things haven't arrived but I've done well so far and only have a few more presents to get! :)

first picture; lush - snow fairy gift box,  biggest bottle of snow fairy & bubblegum lip scrub, TRESemme shampoo (£2 in asda heh), licorice sweets for a friend, paul smith aftershave for the boyfriend, botanics day cream, wooly hat and dressing grown from primark, i also got a lovely deal on krispy kreme doughts which was 24 for £8... i did share don't worry!

third picture; lovely wrapping paper and tags, cute penguin cards for work friends, close family cards, more TRESemme shampoo & condition, more sweets for friends and also my little brother.

Overall you can probably see that I spent a lot.. However I am sorted for Christmas and I'm so happy I can say that! I ended up treating myself to the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub which smells/tastes amazing I love it! I also stocked up on my favorite shampoo due to a brilliant bargain, a lovely wooly hat and a new dressing gown which are both so so soft. I also got the Krispy Kreme doughnuts on a whim and shared them all with a few friends me and my boy met up with.

I'll probably have another Christmas update soon round about my next payday, still so much to buy! Plus I want my own big bottle of snow fairy! I've seen some lovely items that I would badly like for Christmas such as knee length docs filled with fair, it's just the £105 price tag does put me off a little. However this week has been lovely even being at college it's just a shame about the cold weather.

How's your week been so far?

Birthday Purchases!

As you all know I went shopping on Wednesday with my birthday money and I got lots of lovely things. I did get mainly clothes (like always!) but I did buy some Christmas presents so I am pretty pleased with myself.
lace dress - new look £20 // white bra -debenhams £18 // black & burgundy bra - new look £9 // burgundy skirt - new look £13 // VO5 serum - boots £4 // DVD - cex £3 // studded boots - new look £25 // black skirt - river island £16 // dog card - paperchase £1.50

I also got a few other bits and bobs that aren't on here. But safe to say I haven't done bad, I got nearly everything with student discount and I got some 'higher' brands than normal which is rather nice. I especially like my burgundy skirt and boots, despite them being really high and hard to walk in! (I'm a sucker for cute heels but can't walk in them). However the only thing not mentioned here is the Christmas presents I bought
and that's because I don't want to let them slip for a fellow blogger who bought me a rather lovely notebook.

I also got refitted for some bra's seeing as I haven't been in years. I ended up going from an A to a D cup and I thought I'd treat myself to a nice comfy bra from Debenhams and it is lovely. I know where I'll be spending my Christmas money! I also bought myself a lovely Casio watch and I recently bought an iPod last night - a 160GB Black iPod Classic which I'm so excited to arrive, finally an iPod with space for all my make up. Lovely :)

Back To School Shop: Clothes!

Here's the long awaited post I promised you all. I went shopping on Thursday for all of my college clothes, so much was spent yet I got some gorgeous things. I also did a staionary shop which can be found here. Warning I got quite a lot of things so this post will be very photo heavy but hey then you can see how lovely everything is! I also got some shoes earlier in August for college which I've been wearing beforehand so I'll show you them too :)
new jeans // new underwear!! // more tights
kitty umbrella // new bag
my really cute Aztec cardigan I can't wait to wear // lacy white blouse // skull blouse
a gorgeous a little 'vintage' dress I picked up // I love the collar clasp
guys sailor jumper  // the color is gorgeous!
this jumper was so gorgeous I had to have it! // new desert boots for college!
I got a cute little bag from primark with a fox on it
new trend going and I had to join, this one is 'vintage' due to the U.S Army badge and the badges on the arm :)

As you can see I had quite a good haul for clothes for college, things I desperately needed and can mix and match with clothes I already had. Also many places aren't selling them yet but I got a gorgeous winter coat from Matalan. It's a Parker and it fits wonderfully not only that, it was cheap for a coat and is so comfy! I haven't done my make up shop for college yet! Not like I can afford it with everything I bought and it't not as if I need anything so I think when I get my first pay check I'll buy myself a new palette from MUA.

I had such fun doing this shop for college, everything I bought apart from the Army jacket was from Primark and quite reasonably priced. I could of bought everything, it was all so gorgeous. Anyway I'm going to leave you all with a picture of my gorgeous Parker I bought.. from only £32! :)

Back To School Shop; Stationary.

I've recently been a very bad blogger, I've been busy with work and shopping and throw in staying at my boyfriends all week, it's been bloomin' hetic! Yesterday however I had a shopping trip with my mum for college clothes! Spent quite a bit too, because I was at work last night I ended up leaving all my purchases at home so you don't get to see them till I get home, probably Saturday night :) However me and my boyfriend did go shopping for college today, for stationary! I sound so geeky but I love buying it and I love using it. I'm doing 4 A Levels that are all pretty much writing based and quite academic so I wanted to get my notebooks and that.

camper van and purple folder // 3x NU: notebooks // bic pens & pencils
elephant pencil case // highlighters // plastic folder with wallets

I am a sucker for everything cute and stationary wise, I'm sure you've guessed by the Camper Van folder and elephant pencil case. Everything is getting so much more expensive so I just had to keep what I wanted to a minimum and when I get paid get anything else I may need. Yes I am looking forward to college and even more so because I get to use new fresh notebooks. I love it. Also me and my boyfriend had an amazing tea tonight. We shared a large pepperoni pizza and we got wedges with it. Mmmh, it looks so tasty!
I took all the pepperoni off my pizza because I didn't actually like it heh.

I have to say though going shopping for clothes, make up (which I haven't done yet) and stationary when starting school/college/or just another year in education is probably my favorite shopping time of the whole year, I enjoy shopping anyway but there's just something about buying a certain amount of clothes and make up for this event and then the time when you get to wear everything each day at college. Yeah I'm excited to start college, can't wait to wear all of my clothes! I start college on Monday & Tuesday afternoon (introduction) and I get my timetable on Thursday, excited, eek!!
Ps. I'll show you my college clothes on Saturday :)

Whats your favorite shopping occasion?
Did you enjoy college?

College Enrollment & Mini Shopping Haul

So I had my college enrollment yesterday, scary stuff I know! It went a bit rubbish too because my grades apparently weren't impressive enough so I'm down to doing 4 subjects which I can't really complain about I guess, so I'm doing English Literature, English Language, Medieval History and Psychology which I am so excited for. I start college on Monday & Tuesday for my introduction and my first ever day is Thursday next week, I'm so excited but pretty scared too, just got to wait and see what it's like!
This is my favorite dress ever, I got it from Primark and age ago and it's gorgeous.
After my enrollment me and my boyfriend decided to go to town because we both had some pennies to spend (payday & results money) and we did just that. I decided to get a few bits and bobs that I've wanted for a while and also there is more to come because I haven't done my shopping for college! I go tomorrow so I'm really excited, new clothes, make up and stationary, lovely! However this is what I got.
The pictures are really bad quality because I took them on my iphone, I don't have my camera at the mo.
Comic Books - £1 each, I like to buy the pretty cover & Marvel ones.
Incense stick Holder & Insecure - £1 and 15p a stick.
Coin Panda Purse - Primark £3.
Lush Robot Bath Bomb - £1.90
Lush Coco Butter Charity Pot - £1
Studded Boots - £4.99 out of Banardo's Charity Shop.
My incense stick holder after we burnt 'wet grass' it smells divine so we're definitely getting it again! Also me and Tom also had a little nip in Krispy Kreme, like we always do when he gets paid and this time round we got Chocolate Kreme and Chocolate Dreamcake, the tasted amazing. However I have to dash because I have work in 2 hours (!!) So I have to get ready, I'm so excited honestly, I feel like a little kid
.
What Lush products would you recommend for a first time buyer?

Cheap Stores are a Girls Best Friend!

Literally! And I don't mean 'cheap stores' as in really cheap shops I mean places like Poundland and Savers where you can get products, clothing and jewelry for sometimes half the price of an expensive high street store. So today I had a little shopping spree and when I say small I mean tiny. Just a quick whip round my city center for some essentials I've been searching for.
Aapri Exfoliating Pillows
Now for the past week I have searched high and low for these little things, I've been in pretty much every cosmetic and pharmacy shop in my city this week and I finally found them! At one point I even resorted to going on eBay/Amazon for them but they were trying to charge £4 a packet, no way! I found out about these from Ali's blog and I just HAD to try them out for myself because they seem so good. Best of all I got these babies for £1.50!

Tee Tree Face Wipes by icare
Yet again as with make up I'm not big on spending a lot of money on skin care products and I picked these wipes up for 45p, such a bargain I just need to test them out.

Big Blue Rose Ring - Primark
I am a sucker for big rings, especially anything with roses/flowers on them. I could easily have bought this ring in 3 other colors but I just had to stop myself, it only cost me £2 as well, I love Primark!

Also like the little fatties we are me and Tom did more baking, I know it's really bad but we had all these left over ingredients that I just wanted to get rid off :-( But it's okay we made scones and they tasted amazing! I promise to do an outfit post tomorrow of what I wore today though, my dress is just too cute.

Busy beeeee

Man I sure have had a busy week! My grandma came home from Cornwall, bring lots of camper van related gifts and pictures, (I have small obsession).  I got 2 cute little money boxes, sweets like always, some postcards for my scrapbook and a key ring which I’m so pleased with. Also during the week I finally got the few bits and bobs I needed for my prom. These included my gorgeous choker and necklace which was so hard to find because I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, I’m so picky with bags :c but I did eventually find one and order it and both items came the next day!

Also we had dinner at Nando’s always a good place to eat, it’s a shame it’s so expensive but it was a day out round town with my mum suit shopping for my twin for prom so it was all worth it in the end. I even got new makeup, I made up the excuse of needing it for prom but the fact is I love new make up!

Also I had my college day last week with one of my best friends.  Basically it was like our welcome day and we had to pick 4 subjects for the day and we went to explore them. This meant getting even more background information on the courses and anything we can do over summer if we really want to do the course such as books we can read over summer for the course, I can finally say I’m set on English lit and English lang and psychology, but whether I do both medieval history and photography is another thing. I guess I have till August to figure it out :)

Anyway on to today! I stayed with tom last night and we made an early trip this morning so I could get these gorgeous shoes, aren’t they lovely? Well they were until I put them on and they ripped my feet apart, I keep telling myself I need to wear heels more. But for tea we got a bucket from KFC which always makes our day.

Anyway I guess it’s time to finally finish the Fifty Shades trilogy with the last one ‘Freed’ it’s a shame to see it go.
