MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose // Review

Superdrug - £2.50

Okay I'll admit it, I'm 17 and this is the first ever blusher I've bought. However I am very picky and the reason why I chose this blusher is because it's not one solid colour (which I don't like the look of) and also it was cheap, meaning if I grow to love blusher I can expand and if not I only wasted a few ££. It's in a very sleek simple packing which I love because I can see the product without opening it. Also it was just too pretty to miss, the mosaic design is gorgeous.

I really like this blusher, as you swirl your brush (or finger) around it combines together to give a nice pink with hints of lilac which I really love, also once it's gone on it gives off a nice shimmery look rather than a matt finish which I've taken a liking too. When applying I take my brush and swirl it around and then brush up and down on my cheek bones, I don't like to apply too much as I don't want it to look unnatural and this is the effect I get!
(It looks much more pink here due to the flash I think).

I apply this on top of mousse foundation and powder pretty much every day and I love it! It gives my cheeks a gorgeous pink shimmery finish without it looking too unnatural and it gives a glow to my skin. It's easy to apply and it's cheap. I would recommend all the way and I definitely will repurchase.
It's the only blusher I've tried to far but it definitely is a favorite!

September Favorites

Okay so I have two main favorites from last month, my gorgeous parker coat and some make up which I've recently been using.
Soap & Glory - The Righteous Butter 50ml- £2.50 // 300ml - £10.50
I've talked about this product on here before but I just can't get enough of it. When I do have chance to use it I smother myself with it. It smells so amazing and because the mixture is so thick it takes a while to seep into the skin but when it has my skin feels so wonderful! Always so smooth and so soft, it's what you want in a body butter and I definitely think it's worth the price tag.

MUA - Immaculate Collection £8
Now I originally got this product for free because I spent £8+ on MUA products and when it arrived I didn't give it a second look as I'd bought the Undress palette but this month I've paid a little more attention to it and just wow. Some of the shades are amazing on this palette. All really well pigmented and when they go on the actual eye the colour is amazing and they don't fade really quickly like other eye shadows. It's such a gorgeous palette! I plan to use it more in the future, get one while you can!

Matalan Parker £32
Now I know monthly favorites are mainly about cosmetics and make up but I had to pop this one in. I'm aware these aren't on sale anymore because they literally sold out which makes me love mine even more. I had been on the hunt for one of these for a while and this one was cheap, comfy and incredibly warm! It has a lovely big fur hood and lots of deep pockets. Winter has only just started but I know this jacket is going to do me well in the even colder months. I love it!

MUA Lipsticks; Shade 13 & 6

Everyone seems to love MUA lipsticks and I can see why! They have a dozen lovely shades and their cheap, you could buy one and use it and decide you don't like it and you haven't broken the bank! They are a £1 each and they are wonderful colors, if you ever run out you could always afford to replace it. Two of my favorites I've got so far is Shade 13 which is the red one and Shade 6 which is the pink one. I think my next one my be along the lines of a purple if I can find it!

Shade 13
I have to admit, red is my colour. I feel as if it will go with most outfits I wear plus it really adds colour to my face if I don't wear eyeliner/eye shadow. It's such a wonderful colour and I would only buy an expensive red lipstick. MUA does come close to having fab lipsticks. They go on really well and are very moisturizing for the lips and yes you do need to reapply but isn't that the same as all lipsticks? The only pet hate and this is for all lipsticks is that this one tends to run quite a bit. Which is horrible, people tell me it's because I don't wear lip liner but on that subject I'm clueless.  You can pick up this lippy for only a £1 and I have to admit it's a right bargain! It's a lovely shade of red and for a £1 can you really go wrong?

I love it to the moon and back, it goes with everything and anything and once you run out you can always stock back up without breaking the bank which in my opinion is fab. Here is what it looks like on. Excuse my face, I'm really bad a taking photos of my lips.

Shade 6
Now on this lipstick is very pink and very shiny. But on a whim I though hey why not try a pink! So I did. This really is a lovely colour, I think it works best with neutral skin so powder/foundation and mascara and no eye make up, you could always mix and match and find out. It's a very girly pink this colour but it does look very nice on, it's definitely and every day colour you can just whip on and it doesn't smudge and look horrible say if you were wearing red. Like all lipsticks you have to reapply but with this one it doesn't run all that badly or dry my lips out so it's perfect! It could brighten up a very plain outfit if that was the look you was going for. I'll definitely be replacing this one after I run out! It looks really nice on in the picture below, I can't wait to try out MUA's other lipstick colours!

MUA Glitter Ball Platte

This was the first ever MUA product I bought, I though to myself this many eye shadow shade for £4? It can't be bad! And I have loved it ever since and you can see this by what state this palette is actually in yuck! With this palette I always tend to blend the shades such as if I wanted to wear black on it's own I would put shade 6 on first and then shade 1 on top. I also blend colors together such as using shade 1 with shade 12. Depending on how I feel on the day shows what colours I use.
Shades 1 -6 with and without flash.
One of the main things I really like about this palette is that all the shades are glitter and some of them brightly colored. Not only does this make your eyes look more vibrant and stand out, they glitter which I think is always a really nice touch. In my own opinion I think all 12 shades are everyday colors, some of the for winter and some for summer. They are all gorgeous!
Shades 7-12 with and without flash.
I have to say with the exception of shade 1 these are my favorite shades of the palette. Not only are they vibrant colors, but the colors themselves are gorgeous and they are really glittery and they go on to the eye really well. They don't need to be applied to thickly because the color shows through.

I really do enjoy the Glitter Ball palette, it's full of shades I do use every day and also it's so cheap for so many wonderful shades, £4! If you don't already have this palette I recommend you it, it's fun and vibrant and yo can make lots of cool and quirky looks with it!

MUA Haul!

Okay so I've been waiting for this delivery all week and it finally came after I had to get it redelivered a few times. This little splurge was mainly because I had money in the bank, wanted new make up and mix that up with early morning scrolling, here we are!
As you can see I've got for one of MUA's popular palettes - Undressed as well as some new lippy, eyeliner and mascara. Oh I also got the big 24 shade palette for free (spent over £8!) and I just couldn't help myself, I love bargains and I just had to have this one.
I absolutely adore every palette MUA has to offer, although some of the shades do look very similar it's always better to have more then you need in case you run out! Now I've been lusting after one of either 'Heaven and Earth' or 'Undressed' palettes because I've been reading a lot of reviews on them recently and they sound so good. Not only do I want to review it myself but I'd love to wear these colors on a daily basis.
Undressed Palette - £4.00
24 Shade 'Immaculate Collection' Palette - £8.00 (free when you spent £8 or more in Superdrug or on the MUA website).
MUA Lipstick Shade 6 - £1.00
Sorry for the picture being a little blurry, these were hard to photograph!
Extreme Felt Liner - £2.00
MUA Black Mascara - £1.00

Now I don't know about you but I adore MUA, not only because their cheap but their products are actually really good, they are high quality and easy to replace! I also got something else not MUA.
Botanics Skin Calming Night Cream - £4.65 (on offer).
Now I've been looking everywhere for a decent moistureer, one not too runny and that feels my skin feeling refreshed. This certainly does the trick! I'll defintely go back to it.

Also on a small note, last night me and my boyfriend booked tickets to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show in theatre next April. Nowe you may not know this but I've been wanting to see this on stage every since watching the film, so I reckon about 5 years. Yes we will dress up, I'm so excited already. If you don't know what it is, here's one of the most famous songs from it. Also Richard O'Brien made it!

August Favorites

So another end of the month gone I see! Where has August gone, literally?! It's now the 2nd of September and wow, this year has flown. Anyway, I've never actually done a monthly favorites post, mainly because I've never used quite enough products to love but I though 'hey why not!' My favorite parts for this month has to be getting my results and actually getting into college as well as finding a part time job! Over the moon I am, but also my college shopping, which you will all see later this week. Anyway roll on September and whatever it brings with it!
Sublime Star Flowers & Pomegranate Shower Cream
Now I've been buying this a lot recently due to being away from home on holiday and staying over places and such. Normally I just buy a cheap shower gel and I'm done with it. But we've had this at my house for a while and I thought oh I'll just get this a try it. It smells amazing, it goes on and lathes up lovely even with the smallest amount.

Soap & Glory Mist You Madly
I've had this since February this year and use it every day almost and it's still not empty. I'm normally a perfume girl but when I was bought this for Valentine's I couldn't help using it in place of perfume. It's a sweet girly smelling body spray that stays on for hours it seems. I'm not great with expensive products but this is cheap for the time it lasts!

MUA Glitter Ball Palette
Now everyone has been raving over MUA's 'Heaven and Earth' palette which I haven't had chance to use yet. I bought this on a whim, all the colors looked really nice and glittery. And it paid off, the colors go on really nicely, not too thick and blend really well with other colors on the palette, also they stay on quite well during the day. Perfect for everyday eye make up.

MUA Red Lipstick - Shade 13
This was also bought on a whim, I've never actually fully used a lipstick but this one is one it's way. Simple and easy to apply, no smudges and stays on quite a while. However after applying it all the time during the day it does start to run a a little but what can you expect from a £1 lipstick? It's perfect for a vibrant shade for everyday use, I know I use it pretty much every day.

Collection 2000 'Fake Lashes' Mascara
This is a daily use for me too, even with no eye make up or powder I apply this and it alone spruces up my face. I have naturally long lashes anyway but this makes them look even nice. The price is quite reasonable and this has lasted me quite long, so I can't complain about it. My favorite mascara to date. The first one I had was a gift and I'm so glad I received it.

Now on to the blogs I've been loving this month...
Daily Hoot is run by an amazing girl called Vicky. She blogs life, wishlists, beauty and fashion. I adore her posts, I always enjoy reading them because their interesting, informative and just lovely to read. I found this through a Liebester nominated when I first started blogging and followed straight away. She seems like a lovely girl and even with the age gap she seems like a really easy girl to get along with. Vicky can be found here
Futures is run by a lovely girl called Bex. I only recently started following this lovely blog this month but I love every single post. I especially enjoy 'Love, Like Loathe' which she runs every Monday and get other bloggers to do and link up, which I really enjoy doing. I found her through another bloggers twitter. She blogs about life, make up and cosmetics and her posts are really well written and intresting to read. Bex can be found here.
