D-Day - GCSE Results

So like many around the country today, I got my GCSE results, had a bad nights sleep like everyone did and was up bright and early only to find that we couldn't collect them till 10:30am, not to brag but I'm quite a smart kid. I study hard and I love certain subjects (*cough English*) so I was worried to an extent but overall, I knew I wouldn't be that disappointed (I swear I'm not bragging I just put 110% in my grades) and well.. I wasn't!! Most of you probably already know because of twitter but hey why not make a blog post of it as well as an outfit post? :)
dress - primark // blazer - next // black boots (not shown) - beasley's

I think the scariest moment for me was actually walking up to the table to collect my big enevolpe full of results, not even opening them was scary, I knew I had to get it over and done with! Thank god I had my boyfriend and best friend (also collecting her results) there for moral support. I was overall, pretty pleased with my results, one I wasn't too happy with but that was through no fault of my own (the exam board got a little shitty and marked everyone down on the exam of my diploma) but I have the right grades to go to college so I can't complain!

Overall I got :
10 A's
7 B's
3 C's
I got the A in English and R.E I wanted and also a distinction (A*/A) in my Art BTEC where me and my friend created these bad boys;
So overall I'm pretty chuffed with my results and all my family are so proud of me and my brother (I have a twin! Also I got so many GCSE's because I did 3/4 BTEC's were you get 2 GCSE's per subject).

This is the only blog for today though as within the next half an hour my dad is taking me and my brother out to celebrate in Frankie and Bennie's and so will the rest of my family for the next week, everyone wants to go out for a meal and treat me and my brother, so hey why not. I also get money from a company within my city because me and other students have done so well, wow!

So I'll leave it here and just say how happy I genuinely am with my results. All that's left now is my job (!!) induction tomorrow and then I enroll at college next Tuesday - oh what an exciting few days this has been. Thank you everyone for the 'good lucks' and 'congratulations' they've been giving me. It means a whole lot and finally after 5 years of hard work at school I can finally say I've left.. ~properly~ .

EDIT:
So I had a lovely meal at Frankie and Bennies, I've just got back and I am full to the brim, wow they do good pizzas! Also look at the amazing dessert me and my brother shared (mmh brownies!)

Art and Crafts!

Well I'm not too much on an art type of person, I can't draw, I'm not a very good painter and I'm not good with sculpting clay. The only 'art' type of thing I can actually be proud of is this:
Part of my art project for my BTEC (I didn't have a choice) was to create a 3D fictional character which is easily recognized by it's clothing and facial features. Me and my best friend decided on the Corpse Bride by Tim Burton and this type of art we loved doing every minute of it. This is something we are tremendously proud of.

I love writing and it can be a form of art I guess. It's mine and my boyfriend's 6 month anniversairy of the 14th of this month and well we like to celelbrate the little half one because it's a very big achievemnt so I wanted to get creative. I've always liked the idea of scrapbooks but ones where you can add photos and text and it's not all really orangised just plain pages. After slaving over every shop in my city centre I came across Paperchase, now I don't always like shopping here because it's so expensive but I found the most gorgeous book ever I just couldn't say no.

It set me back £8.75 but once I'd laid eyes on it I just needed to have it! I love making scrapbooks but the books I make them in must be pretty and this is the best one I've had so far. There were lots of different styles with different colored paper, but because I'm giving it to my boyfriend I had to pick neutral colors (I'll have to snap up the others as well as their hand made notebooks some other day ^.^)
My favorite bit about the whole book is the way it closes. Now I'm a person who is very particular about these things because I hate to see lovely books get ruined. This one clothes with a little ribbon you can tie in a bow. Now if I wasn't already sold this would be it, this is the cherry on the top of this little cake and I'm in love.
Also the pages are black which means white framed photographs and light pens would stand out really nicely on the page, I also liked this color because it was different and a little special. I also got carried away with myself and bought a cute little silver pen to write in which set me back nearly £4! I think I'll stick to WHSmiths for my pens next time.

I just can't wait to get started on this! I'm so excited heh, I hope Tom loves it as much as I do.

Busy beeeee

Man I sure have had a busy week! My grandma came home from Cornwall, bring lots of camper van related gifts and pictures, (I have small obsession).  I got 2 cute little money boxes, sweets like always, some postcards for my scrapbook and a key ring which I’m so pleased with. Also during the week I finally got the few bits and bobs I needed for my prom. These included my gorgeous choker and necklace which was so hard to find because I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, I’m so picky with bags :c but I did eventually find one and order it and both items came the next day!

Also we had dinner at Nando’s always a good place to eat, it’s a shame it’s so expensive but it was a day out round town with my mum suit shopping for my twin for prom so it was all worth it in the end. I even got new makeup, I made up the excuse of needing it for prom but the fact is I love new make up!

Also I had my college day last week with one of my best friends.  Basically it was like our welcome day and we had to pick 4 subjects for the day and we went to explore them. This meant getting even more background information on the courses and anything we can do over summer if we really want to do the course such as books we can read over summer for the course, I can finally say I’m set on English lit and English lang and psychology, but whether I do both medieval history and photography is another thing. I guess I have till August to figure it out :)

Anyway on to today! I stayed with tom last night and we made an early trip this morning so I could get these gorgeous shoes, aren’t they lovely? Well they were until I put them on and they ripped my feet apart, I keep telling myself I need to wear heels more. But for tea we got a bucket from KFC which always makes our day.

Anyway I guess it’s time to finally finish the Fifty Shades trilogy with the last one ‘Freed’ it’s a shame to see it go.
