The Lipstick Tag

I saw this tag on Hayley's wonderful blog and I though 'Ooh I'll give this a go!"
Seeing as I adore lipsticks here are my answers :)

(These aren't all of my lippies, just a few favorites to show you all)

How many lipsticks do you own?

Currently I own 16 lipsticks and 5 lip stains. It was a much smaller amount when I started blogging but alas Christmas & my birthday have been as well as a few paydays.. ;-)

What was your first ever lipstick?

Oh deary me, I can't quite remember, I'm thinking one of those gross lip palettes with the little brushes from Claire's Accessories?

What is your most worn lipstick?

For lipstick I constantly wear Revlon's Matte 006 which is a gorgeous deep red colour with a perfect finish. On 'normal days' I tend to grab a babylips or Revlon's Balm Stain in 'Honey' which is such a gorgeous colour.

What is your favourite brand?

Definitely No7 or Revlon, I do like Rimmel but only the matte finishes. I really want to splash out on a Mac lippy because they are the goddesses of the beauty counters. Hopefully it'll be soon!

What is your favourite finish?

Matte, all the way yes. I do have some sheer lippys and I need to branch out into them, however the one's I have tried I'm not too keen on.

What was the last lip product you bought?

The 3 shades from Collection's Gothic range, I just had to have them for winter! I love berry shades. I also treated myself to the new 'Pink Punch' babylips, not keen on the colour though!

How many glosses and balms do you currently have in your handbag?

I carry a lip balm wherever I go and normally the colour I'm currently wearing, sometimes there's more because I forget to take them out.

What lipstick do you wear to rock a red lip?

My favorite red at the moment is one of Revlon's matte finishes in number 006 Really Red but I hope Mac's Ruby Woo will soon be gracing my lips!

How do you store your lipsticks?

In one of the drawers of my make up box, because I don't have too many I tend to find exactly the colour I want quickly. Although I am thinking about the clear plastic holders for when I move to uni.

What lip products are you constantly lusting after?
I adore the look of the Lime Crime lippys (but what colour to get??) And I also really want to add my first Mac lippy to my collection, I'm thinking Ruby Woo?

The Autumn Tag!

I'm a girl that absolutely loves Autumn. I can't think of anything better than being cozy on the couch which a big fluffy jumper, slippers and a hot chocolate!  Someone about being inside while it pours down just makes me feel so content and cozy, lets face it.. I love the cold weather so much more than the sweaty sun! I've been tagged by countless people for this tag so I thought I'd join in myself! 1. Favorite thing about it? Big thick jumpers and a brand new pair of boots. I love big fluffy jumpers you can just cuddle down in and cozy up on the couch. I love wrapping up in lots of layers and thick tights and stepping out into the cold weather knowing full well I'm toasty. Also the idea of curling up on the sofa with hot chocolate and a good film while it pours outside.
2. Favorite drink? If I'm at home it has to be Options Hot Chocolate but if it's from a shop I will just drink cup after cup of hot chocolate!
3. Favorite scent/candle? I'm not entirely sure why but I love the smell of vanilla if it's not too overpowering. But I like anything that smells nice especially the spiced pear (?) Yankee Candle!
4. Best lipstick? I wear red every day of the week and winter/autumn is no different. I have a new favorite lippy and that is in the form of a matte one from Revlon. Or just a simple lip balm because my lips crack like mad.
5. Go to moisturizer? I don't really tend to change types with the seasons I just use the a hell of a lot more. Currently I'm using the No7 dry/combination day and night cream - the ones in the green tubs!
6. Go to colours for the eyes? I do love neutrals so I think it's time to bring back the golds and browns. However I never find anything wrong with good old flicks!
7. Favorite music or band/singer to listen to? To be honest my music taste never changes with the season - only at Christmas time when I blast the hits 24/7... from the middle of November. 
8. favorite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)? I normally wear jeans, a woolly jumper and a thick scarf. However this year I've opted more for summer skirts and dresses coupled up with thick woolen tights and a jumper and scarf to match! (I hate wearing hats so it's normally a big furry hood for me.) It's always my doc martens or new rocks this time of year! (cozy clothes bought for Autumn!)
9. Autumn treat? A huge tub of my favorite hot chocolate, cookies and always a new scarf.
10. Favorite place to be? Snuggled in bed at home with a warm drink, good films and molly my Westie. (my snuggle buddy!)

How much is my face worth?

So it seems I've jumped on this band wagon too, apologies but it's such a good tag I just had to! I've always wondered how much I've spent on my 'everyday' look because I always seems to buy make up, every single payday I buy bits and bobs I never seems to use! However I'm glad I only have 2 high end brands in my everyday look and I can't afford other bits from them!

I've also decided to include my daytime skincare as it's something I apply before my make up!

That has genuinely surprised me! I didn't think I actually spent that much on my face ever single day!! Thank goodness this is my 'normal' look which I wear for going out as well as everyday, I tend to change my lip colour but I don't have any high end Mac lippys so I'm all good there. I guess I spend a lot on skincare and foundation, but hey the products are perfect for me.

The Procastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

Now I've seen this tag popping up here, there and everywhere and when the lovely Helen tagged me in it I decided to give it a go for myself! I've also seen it on Ali's and Mia's blogs where all you lovely ladies can check out the rules if you'd like to join in!
Name a beauty regime you rarely do.
I am so bad at nighttime skincare, sometimes I use face wipes.. sometimes not even that! I'm terrible. I need to get much better on skincare before I go to bed, also I need to get rid of the face wipes (apart from mascara!) and use my cleanser/tone a lot more as well as exfoliating!

Is washing your make up brushes something you do regularly?
At the moment no. The only brush I use is one for blusher and I use the same blush ever day. However I did just order the Real Techniques Core Collection brushes so when I start using them I can see brush washing going up on my list of priorities!

How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
I bite my nails a lot but with polish on I don't touch them even when they chip! Also I can normally only wear nail polish for a week max at a time with my job so I tend to take it off before it starts to chip but I wouldn't pick at chipped nails either, I'd just remove it.

How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail product - even if you need it? (E.g a new foundation)
It depends on the product, I tend to buy my replace just as the older one is running out which means I never actually run out. Saying that I only replace items I really love like the Kate Moss lipsticks and my No7 foundation. Plus nothing I use at the moment is expensive so I can always afford to replace.

What is your worst beauty habit?
I'm not too sure, I do lean on face a lot at college meaning I wipe my foundation away like there's no tomorrow. I also touch my hair a lot meaning my fringe looks terrible when I get home! Also with lippy and lip balms, I am forever reapplying, balms is like all the time and lippy is maybe every hour or so..? Eek.

Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time.
Coursework, college work, revision in general. I'm really lazy yet dedicated when it comes to college. I know the stuff and I can get good grades but I leave everything till last minute and panic like mad purely because I'm too lazy/unmotivated to actually get anything done.

When going out somewhere do you leave getting ready to the last minute or not?
I have a pet hate of being late, so much that I'm nearly always early for everything. For college I take around 40 minutes including make up and washing my hair. If I were going out with friends or Tom then I'm more likely to say 1/2 hours. I hate rushing around to get ready!

Can you commit to spending bands?
I don't think so, I always tell myself to save but then there's always something I want to buy. Hopefully the more I start to earn at work the more I'll save! However I would struggle badly on a spending ban there's always a new book or beauty product I want...

How organised is you make up and nail collection?
I've been searching for weeks for somewhere nice to store my make up! (Apart from plastic drawers, please recommend me good storage!) I am trying but for now it's just on the top of my chest or drawers all over the place and my nail colors in a make up bag.

What is the longest time you have gone without writing a blog post?
About 2 weeks I think, normally when I've had no pictures/products to blog about and I've just been really lazy spending my time on coursework and Tom.

Books - This or That? // Tag

I love taking part in tags and ones about books even more!
If you take part link me, I love reading peoples answers, (I'm nosy ^.^ !)
Audio books or book in hand?
I've never actually listened to an audio book before! I would love to own all of the HP books on audio but they are so darn expensive. I will eventually try them but there's no way you can beat a book in hand! Plus I love the feel of a physical book.

Soft or hard cover?
I absolutely adore hard backs! However they do get pretty pricey and are huge and heavy to carry around. Normal books I just buy in paperback but if it's a special one to me e.g. Casual Vacancy by J.K. I bought it in hardback, I guess it makes the book more special.

Fiction or non-fiction?
I haven't really read much non-fiction, it doesn't really interest me. I enjoy auto-biographies and certain books on psychology but fiction has the biggest library ever, there will always be so many books out there for me.

Fantasy word or real-life issues?
Fantasy is such a huge favorite of mine, I love loosing myself inside a fantasy world full of magic and myths. Their so much more exciting and I like books with real life issues but anything like LOTR and murder mysterious, right up my street!

Harry Potter or Twilight?

I love HP, die hard here! My mum use to read them to me and my brother when I was little and I've never forgotten that. However I did read the Twilight books and at first I loved them, I then grew up a bit and wondered why my interest had been so big! I just feel now the writing is terrible and just yuck! The Harry Potter books are ones that I will re-read all of the time and never get bored.

Kindle, iPad or other?

I have a Kindle from my Grandad and I do adore it, I can finish a book and start a new one already. However I love to have physical copies of books I feel it to be a waste of money to buy them on the Kindle as well, meaning most of my Kindle books are free!

Borrow or buy?

I've tried libraries and I love them because I find books I would never ever read, but I'll read a book and grow to love it and then I just want it. I prefer to buy and then read, if I don't like the book one of my family members probably will, we're all book mad!

Book store or by online?

I love visiting bookstores but we only have a Waterstones and it sure is expensive! Meaning Amazon is my best friend for new books, I really need to explore more and find cute little bookstore in my town, I love to browse books in my hands rather than online, I normally have a sneaky peek inside too. I tend to buy bookstore when I just 'need' the book and I just can't wait.

Standalone or series?

I really do love both, I love the idea of tons of books about the same characters I'm just impatient when waiting for publishing! I tend to randomly buy books and find out their part of a series. Sometimes it depends on my mood, I love both types but I guess I hate waiting around.

Monster read or short and sweet?

I love monster reads! Especially Stephen King novels, he sure knows how to write a killer in 600+ pages! More pages always means more to read, more character development and I just get lost. I do like short reads but I do tend to get a little bored.. 

Starry eyed romance or full of action?

I like a book with a bit of both, things are always more interesting when girls are involved. Romance novels are sometimes good and I enjoy them but I tend to get bored if their stereo-typically mushy.

Curl up in your snuggie or lay in the sun?

I love curling up! With the English weather at the moment it's getting sunny but I'm not about to trust it, I can it pouring down with rain next week!

Hot chocolate or latte?

I'm so peculiar with hot drinks, I'll only drink sweet tea and I LOVE hot chocolate, however it has to be thick, creamy and very chocolaty  I could curl up with one of them, my boyfriend and a book and that would be a well deserved night in! ♡

Read the review or decide for yourself?

I hate to read book reviews because then I get put off a book despite really wanting to read it, it's the same with people's opinions. I prefer to read the book for myself and then check the reviews out, see if people agree or not. Plus I like to see what people think, reviews are always so much better afterwards!

Confessions of a Blogger // Tag

When did you start your blog?

Originally I started this as a personal blog way back last January but had a whole blog revamp on 27th June and here I am, it'll soon be my first blogging birthday! :)

Have you had any past online presence before? (other blogs / youtube)

When I was a lot younger I started off on self-hosted domains from a friend of mine, then I moved onto Myspace with CSS and in the last 2 years or some I turned back to self hosted sites before coming to blogger.

Why did you start a blog?

I originally started out a blog instead of writing a diary and then I got bored of it. I was currently in my last year of high school and prom was coming up so I decided to document it on here with my make up and clothing I'd wear, I then made a post on the books I enjoy and the hobby was born! 

When did you become serious about starting a blog?

I genuinely had no idea what to do at first, my posts were all over the place and no one was reading them. But then I fell into the routine of summer leading up to college and I decided to buckle down and really start coming up with some great posts because my follower count kept going up and up. 

What was your first post?

This is so embarrassing but it was about the Kindle that my grandad had given and I was basically promoting it and sharing my opinion. Going back now it sounds like a dreadful post! You can read it here :)

What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?
Balancing my life and blogging. I currently go to college where I study four demanding coursework based subjects, I also have my part time job, friends and my boyfriend. Everything does take a lot of time so blogging does take a back seat sometimes which does result in a lot of scheduled posts but I do try my hardest!

Where do you see your blog in a year?
I still really badly want to be blogging, I'd love to post more regularly, exploring the wide world of make up (not just high street brands) and also be in contact with a lot more lovely bloggers. Next year I just hope to be where I am now with maybe a few more page views and followers under my belt and still enjoying what I love :)

What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?
Meeting new people. I've met so many lovely girls through blogging who are so helpful all of the time. The community is what's best in blogging.

What is the most discouraging thing to happen to you?
I haven't had this sort of experience yet and I hope I don't ever have one!

Whats your lasting inspiration / motivation?
I love the girls that post everyday without fail, with amazing posts too! I am forever following new blogs, meeting new people and discovering new products, I love it :)

What's in My bag; Sixth Form Edition

Now I've seen these posts everywhere I couldn't resist and I just had to have a go! There'll probably be two types of these posts as I use different bags for college and when I go out on a normal day. I'm very nosy too and I love reading these types of posts so I hope you do too! Now I started college back in September and I have 3 lessons max a day which sometimes results in me carrying more books around but this is what my bag looks like on a normal day.

Now I absolutely adore my bag, it's a real Cambridge School Satchel that I got for £60 (retails at £100+), it's a gorgeous dark brown colour and this photo just doesn't do it any justice!

As you can see I actually fit lots of stuff into my satchel causing it to be brimming tight and ever so heavy. However some days I don't take my tablet and sometimes I only have one lesson which is a godsend! Just to pick out a few little bits my purse is from Primark and my ID case from Paperchase. Also I only carry bits and bobs of make up on me because my bag can't fit anything more, plus I find lippy and balm to be exactly what I need during the day!
Also the subjects I take at college are;

30 Things About Me...

1. I would love to get a novel published one day.

2.  I would love to live in comfy knit jumpers but some days it's just not acceptable.

3. I'm tiny. Size 4 feet and 5'3" in height.

4. Over the years I've wanted to be a part of lots of different career's which include a teacher, vet, journalist, writer and finally a clinical psychologist, the latter being the current aim and hopefully career, (uni's only next year!)

5. Like many other bookworms I get emotionally attached to characters, never a good thing.

6. I wear glasses and have done since the age of about 10, I have a love/hate relationship with them.

7. One day I will own a vintage car, which one I'm not sure, hopefully a Morris or a Beetle or maybe a VW Camper Van!

8. I've dyed my hair a lot of times, ranging from pink, blue, green, purple, red, white, blonde and black.

9. I'm 17 and at college, I study English Language & Literature (separately), Medieval History and Psychology.

10. I get along sooo much better with boys, I do enjoy being friends with girls but I'm very particular.

11. I've been with my boyfriend a year on the 14th February and I'm going to be all cliche and what not but he's the best.

12. I'm an avid reader which I've made quite clear. I can sometimes read a 500 page book in a day or two if I have the time.

13. I had braces because as a child my teeth resembled Goofy's, nuh uh!

14. I'm a messy perfectionist. Things have to be perfectly ordered within the mess e.g. piles of organised books everywhere.

15. I really do love having a job and earning my own money.

16. I love pin up girls and anything from the 70's backwards, if only people still dressed like that.

17.  I'm a sucker for beautiful buildings and cute cottages, hopefully one day I'll own one myself.

18. I adore the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (books & films) and the The Hobbit fits perfectly.

19. I've got many piercings included 2 stretched ears and when I turn 18 October I plan to be inked.

20. I love to go shopping, on my own. I like to do my own thing and spend a long time looking at things with other people whining at me.

21. My favorite make up look is winged eyeliner with either glossy or red lips.

22. I hate coffee and I hate tea. Hot chocolate is the one for me.

23. I'm 17 and I still sleep with teddy bears (given to me by my boyfriend!)

24. I am an unbelievably fussy eater, don't even ask,

25. My name is pronounced Ellie but is spelt without the 'i'.

26. I love boots, I either live in my doc martens or heeled boots.

27. Since my parents split up when I was 4 I've moved house 6 times.
28. I went to Disneyland Florida in 2006 when I was around 10/11 and it was the best holiday I have ever had.
29. I love music but I struggle to name my favorite band overall. I love different bands for different reasons.
30. I love to play games, I have an Xbox and a PS2 and I'm always on them and I thank my dad for that!

1. What's your favourite trend at the moment?

This is a hard one because I don't really like to follow trends and I'm always behind. I guess you could say the trend of leather satchels. I'm quite behind with this one but I love my satchel! 

2. What is your favourite shade of lipstick?

Red, always red! I think it's a gorgeous colour. I also really enjoy burgundy and deep purples  I'm way too scared to see if I could pull either off though. 

3. What beauty product do you regret purchasing most?

I always regret buying cheap powders and nail polish as I never wear them. I also buy scented face wipes because their cheap and they smell awful! No high end mistakes just yet.

4. Can you tell us your biggest fashion faux pas?
On my 'tired' days at college I tend to wear comfy clothes that take no effort and hardly any make up. I hate that I do but I just love my bed lots some days.

5. What is your poison?

I hate to say it but Vodka Redbulls, yuck how un-classy! However I do enjoy cheeky vimtos which is port and vodka, they taste great! 

6. How long on average does it take you to get ready?

Anywhere between an hour to two. Depending what I have to do. A day where I make effort with my clothes and make up will take me about an hour (and a half at the most.)

7. Tea or coffee?
Sorry to say but neither! I haven't grown up that much yet, I do enjoy a rather nice hot chocolate though.

8. What are your opinions on surgery?

No way for cosmetic purposes. The only type of surgery I will ever consider is laser eye treatment. Yes in some ways it's cosmetic and yes I'm unsure whether I want it, some days I just love my glasses a lot.

9. Do you have/want tattoos?
I would love a tattoo, I already have on in the works for when I turn 18 this October which will be a dream catcher on my ankle. I also have plenty more planned!

10. Do you prefer statement shoes or a statement bag?
Statement bag all the way!! I could not live without my collection of bags. However the same could be said for my shoes. Well I'd rather wear a lovely pair of flats and have a gorgeous flashy bag than heels.

11. Do you have a favourite part of 2012?
This is going to sound terribly soppy and such but meeting and then falling for my now boyfriend who is called Tom. We got together Valentine's day last year so it's looming on our year anniversary. ♡

Tag: Why Do You Wear Make Up?

So I love these little tags and I though I'd share it with you all. Don't forget if you do the tag comment with the link and I'll check it out :-)

1. When did you begin to love make up?

I think I began to love it from quite a small age, I remember being little and I would sneak little peeks into my mums make up bag and also when I got to the age when I was given old cast off make up, either from my mum or auntie and I adore it, especially when I use to play dress up.

2. How do you feel without make up?

I know some girls generally can't leave the house without make up, but I'm not like that. I would happily walk out the door in a morning with no make up on, it hardly bothers me. However I do wear it daily because I like to make an effort for my boyfriend but also myself. I like applying it, I enjoy it. 

3. What do you like about make up?

I enjoy applying it, for example I like blending two eye shadows together or putting my lippy on and my winged eyeliner. I love how one look can totally change your face for example I look much different with eyeliner than I do if I wear eye shadow. I also love buying it, going scouting for the best deals and picking the best colours. 

4. Three 'Holy Grail' Items?

My collection 2000 face powder simply because it's easier and cheaper to use foundation some days. It covers up well, it doesn't last all day but I do apply concealer and small amounts of foundation so this covering on top of everything. 

Collection 2000 extreme felt eyeliner in black. This product is amazing and it's cheap. It can last me ages and is absolutely amazing to put on and so easy. It doesn't smudge and it last and lasts.

One of my many lip balms  I enjoy wearing lip gloss and lipstick however my boyfriend does tend to hate it so normally I just stick a bit of lip balm on when it's a college day. I like flavored ones the best however Asda have an amazing smelling one. 

Beauty Blogger Tag

I absolutely adore these types of tags yet I never get around to doing them. I still really want to do the 'how much is my face worth tag' I will get around to it! However I'll do this one now, I feel really bad because most of my posts at the moment have been personal or tags but I haven't had the time because I was working all weekend and I've got essay's due this week so what I think I'll do is schedule a few posts at weekend for the week after to make it up for it :)

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
Well it's naturally wavy-ish but when it's short like it is now it tends to be straight.

2. What is your natural hair colour?
Very dark brown. Which at the moment you can tell, damn roots!

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I have always dyed my hair myself, however for special occasions e.g. prom and the occasional treat I get it professionally done, which is pretty much bleaching because my mum hates doing it!

4. How often do you wash your hair?
See I feel a little freaky but every single day! I feel as if I have to, but I only condition it maybe once a week.

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
Same style everyday, it's a little too long at the moment to spike it up so I just let it lay naturally with the odd bit of hair wax now and then.

6. Do you do your own mai/pedi or go to a salon?
I've never had my nails done proffessionally before so that's on my to-do list, but even I don't do them myself, my boyfriend does :)

7. How often do you change your nail polish?
I use to wear it pretty much everyday but I no longer can due to work :(

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, or just in the summer?
All the time! Much more now I can't wear polish on my hands.

9. How long does it take you to put your make up on?
Depending on what type of make up I'm doing it could range from 5 minutes to 20 when I start doing eyeliner/eyeshadow.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
Always my eyes, I tend to smudge make up I've put on to my face and I hate having to redo my face make up, so it's easier this was.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
Yes! I'm really bad for this, I tend to buy make up I don't need that much but will probably use in the future. I do still buy items when I need them but since having a paying job I always tend to pick up a few items on
payday.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Yuck! Never I hate them, I hate the feel of them and the hassle of putting them on. MY eye lashes are quite long anyway so I don't actually need them.

13. Do you do a full face of make up everyday?
Well I don't wear foundation I use powder but kind of yes. I wear powder and mascara everyday but as for eyeliner/eye shadow only on days when I have the tired and aren't too tired.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
It depends really if anyone is coming round and what we're doing but no. I don't see the point in getting all dolled up for no purpose whatsoever. I wear powder but that's it.

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Yeah! I don't see why this is such a big issue, I mean if you're just popping to the shops or walking the dog then it's fine. Unless I'm going out for an actual purpose such as college or seeing my boyfriend then no, make up all the way!

16. How many high end products do you own?
Not many really, I have products from yonks ago such as an Urban Decay palette I got for Christmas which was around £30. I don't really like high end products, I see them as a waste of money. But one I do think are good for their money is S&G but I don't see them quite at the top.

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
Hmm I only genuinely use one make up brush because I need to expand my collection so I just wash it before I use it.

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you ate getting dressed?
I do try ever so hard to plan it but then when I wake up the weather or occasion may change. I do sometimes stick to my outfit choice but then there;s other days when I just want to curl up in jeans and a jumper.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
I'm really bad for this, I have my big blue one I like to use for college but depending on my outfit and occasion I do like to change them, they range from small to big, different colors and studded ones. I do have one 'main one' though for every day use.

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I tend to fall asleep when I'm tired which can range from 11:30pm to 1am. In a normal college week I wake up between 7am and 7:30 depending when I have to be in and on weekends I try and stay as late as possible till about 10am.

21. How often & when do you work out?
Never! I'm waiting for my emergency tax to get sorted and my hours every week and then I'm thinking of joining up to the gym so I can work out and swim! It may never happen though.

22. Left handed or right handed?
Right handed :)

23. How tall are you?
I'm so tiny! I'm about 5'2/3

24. Do you speak a foreign language?
I was forced through four years of french at high school so I think I can hold my own in a conversation :)

25. How many pets do you have?
At my mums I have a lovely Westie called Molly. At my dads we have two lovely cats called Suki & Molly. My family is full of pets, mainly dogs.

26. How often are you on Blogger?
Depending on my work load from college and my work schedule I'm normally on for a couple of hours every night and I tend to spent my weekends on it. I'm not on as often as I'd like so I try to scheduled my posts at weekends.

27. Do you read the comments posted on blogs?
Yeah of course, I love finding new blogs to follow and I always read the comments I get and end up checking out their blogs.

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
All the time! I either google the products and bookmark it on my laptop or keep it in my little while blogging notebook.

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
It's my first and middle name with an extra 'e' on the end. I wanted something that sounded really lovely and personal that some people had and I just couldn't think so I just stuck with my name :)

30. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?
I tend to use my iPhone a lot because it's always with me but from time to time for OOTD's or shopping haul photographs I use my Fujifilm S1900, I am hoping to save up for a newer, much smaller one.

31. How often do you clean your house?
I live with my mum so she does it, however she is always nagging for me to tidy my room.

32. What is your favorite color?
Purple!

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?
I tend to buy whatever I like the look of. But recently I've been buying Cosmo, Company and Glamour. 

34. Do you swear?
All the time! I have such a bad potty mouth, people are always telling me off for it.

35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
I'm going to write up a few more posts on here for this week, hopefully see my boyfriend and then head off to work at 4pm for a 4 hours :)

As you all know  love these types of challenges and this one was a biggie. I know I've been doing a lot of these recently but hopefully this week I will be back into the swing of things so expect some outfit and beauty related posts!

Beauty Vs Brains - Tag (loooong)

Source  Okay so I saw this on Helen's blog and also Ali's blog (who are both amazing by the way!) and I thought 'Oh man I HAVE  to try this!' so here I am, I always love doing stuff like this, mainly the filling in bit so I hope you enjoy! Apparently it was originally from 'Sprinkle of Glitter's youtube' channel and I love nosying at people's responses so I thought people might have liked to see mine so here we are. It tells you to tag people so I tag all of my readers/followers, I want to have a little nosy at your posts so go ahead and do it! And away we go.. What is your favorite book? Man this is such a hard one, because I love books of all genres so I think I may have to say a few! I adore the 'Girl with a Dragon Tattoo;' trilogy by Stieg Larsson, I adore nearly all of Stephen King's book but also Dracula! It was one of the first, truly good vampire books I had ever read and I could read it over and over and still love it. I love it that much I'm contemplating doing my Lit coursework on it!

What motto's do you like saying a lot?
Well to be quote honest I don't think I actually have any 'mottos' there are certain lines of books I really enjoy such as;
"Not all those who wander are lost."
"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."
"To the well -organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." - of of my favorites!
"There is more treasure in books then in all the pirates loot on treasure island."
I pretty much missed the aim of this question but these quotes mean a lot to me and I think 'influence' me quite a bit in my life. I also really adore the one Helen used - "It's not the ending unless it's happily ever after."

Which do you prefer: English or Maths?
English! All the way, I hate the way maths messes with your mind because there will always be one right answer whereas in English you can have so many different answers and interpretations. Also ever since being little I've always wanted to write.  Hence double English at A Level :')

Which do you prefer: Science or Art?
I actually really enjoy both subjects but I have reasons for disliking both! Science is so fun with the experiments but also everything you learn and with Art you can get amazing outcomes by doing a simple method. But Science can get incredibly dull. I think I'll pick Art, despite my family being nowhere near art simply because I had the most amazing ART teacher in Year 11 and he was the best ever, let us make sculptures and helped me to get a Distinction in my Art BTEC (2 A's) Thank's Steve! (Plus he's a huge Transformers fan ^.^)

Name 5 albums/musical artists that have changed you life.
 Now I adore music and I do in some cases believe music can 'save' and 'change' peoples lives depending on their situation. Like I have certain artists that pick up me up when I'm feeling down so I'll name a few.

The Candle Thieves - Literally all of their albums, they are an amazing acoustic group. I've spent the last year or so listening to them and even had the amazing pleasure of meeting them and also seeing them alive. My favorites would have to be 'Stars' and also 'Balloons #1, #2, #3'. So amazing!

The Blackout - Hope: Now I've also had the pleasure of seeing these amazing guys several times and also the pleasure of speaking to the 2 front men Gavin & Sean and they are the loveliest guys ever! Also this song well it doesn't mean a great deal to me, however it's a fab song. I think it's the title alone, 'Hope' just fills me with well... Hope.

My Chemical Romance - Man I feel like a loser admitting I like this band because everyone seems to dislike them now but I kinda had a hard time just as I got into my teenage years and well this was the band I would always listen to, back when they were in their 'emo' stage with The Black Parade I'd feel like, man I can do this because I have these guys and their music, so I'll be ok! I also got to see them in 2011 for the first time in February and again in August and wow, my inner 13 year old was screaming.

The Clash - Rock The Casbah: No word of a lie one of my favorite songs, on my first (yes illegal) night out this was playing and me and my best friend and boyfriend were all a little drunk in Spiders and we had such a good night and from that I remember this song so whenever I play I think back to that bight and think 'Wow I had such a good night, I never want to forget' it was honestly one of the best nights ever. 

I can't actually think of anymore, it's quite hard because I have so many favorite bands and songs! 

What were your favorite and least favorite subjects at school?
Like I said above I adored English and have always wanted a career in it! However I did dislike it at some points due to an awful teacher that pretty much hated my guts but I pretty much got straight A'd all the time so it wasn't all that bad! I also really enjoyed History, I never really told anyone but Hitler and World Wars 1 & 2 really did interest me! I hated Maths, I just found it so difficult, same with PE I'm just not a very fit person! I disliked it and was just way too lazy for my own good. Also in my last year of school I adored Art (when in my first few years I hated it!) simple because I had an amazing teacher and a pretty good work scheme because we looked at Controversial artists! Also another hate French! I was actually quite good at it, had a lovely teacher but I sucked at speaking it and also I just lacked motivation, it just got boring after spending all of high school doing it. 

Who is your favorite celebrity with a brain?
Do the cast of Top gear count, I mean they always seem to be pretty smart on their challenges and they are hilarious. But I'll go ahead and say Stephen Fry because he never fails to make me laugh and he always seems to be there in the thick of everything and also he did some of the harry Potter audio books! Other them these I don't actually know what celebrities 'have brains' I'd like to say the actors of Gandalf and Dumbledore but I'm not too sure if their brainy. 

What is your nerdy little secret?
My nerdy little secret, well I'm a bookworm, a gamer! I watch DVD's all the time and I actually love learning about 'different' religions such as Wicca and Paganism, I adore it. I haven't had chance to fully study But I do have a few books. I also adore how peoples brains work and what influence them, mainly serial killers. Yes morbid I know but imagine getting inside the mind of Hannibal 'the cannibal' Lecture! He seems so in control of himself all the time it's as if he's not insane at all. Also One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Girl Interrupted, need I say more?

Who are your favorite beauty/fashion gurus whom you admire more for than just their beauty/fashion sense?
Now this is kinda really hard because I don't know of many. However I adore Fearne Cotton, she has an amazing style but she's also really down to Earth and so gorgeous although people are mean to her. I also love Paloma faith, I know she isn't a fashion guru mainly because she's so wacky but that's what I love about her. She's so unique and individual that it draws me to her and I'm just like 'wow I wish I had the guts'. Also Dita Von Teese, she is amazingly gorgeous, beautiful and has the most amazing dress sense ever! 

If you could study anything, anywhere, what and where would you study?
I would LOVE to study Psychology/Sociology in New York, seeing how all of these high business people work on a daily level every single day of the week. I would also love to study in London, with all the bust people and the busy streets. I also would love to study English in more depth rather then just for a teaching level! Also to me Law seems like something amazing to study but the amount of dedication people give ti it, I don't think I'd be able to cut it!

If your blog wasn't about beauty/fashion, what would it be about?
Mainly lifestyle! Me blabbing on about my life, what I've done each day, What books I've read and films I've seen. Endless lists of things I generally want or want to watch/read. It would be ever so personal with everything but view-able for the public. Also how amazing would a travel or cooking blog be? I wish I had the money seriously! 

Name something you are obsessed with that other people would find nerdy?
God I love reading books and watching older films. I also love reading Japanese manga! But also I love EVERYTHING vintage not just clothes! Bikes, houses, places, furtniture, honestly everything it makes me so happy to see things about it. I also have a small weird obbession with history but more importantly vampires and Dracula, if I could go to Translevia or Romaina and study their history in depth on this subjects I would jump at the chance! I also adore Greek Mythology and the Ancient Egyptians! 

Name 5 people, excluding friends and family, that inspire you.
Man this is actually a hard one because I'm not entirely sure on who inspires me.

Okay lets say, authors in general but over all JK Rowling and Stephen King. JK for the reason that after submitting the first draft of the Philosophers stone nearly 11 times (I think) to publishers and she finally got published and look where she is today, look what became of harry Potter!

Stephen King simply because he works and works and always produces the amazing fiction I read. Also after the near death experience he had, he just kept writing! Such dedication.

J.R.R Tolkien. What an amazing man! I mean he lives in the 20th century which meant there wasn't a lot of imagination around and things were pretty much shunned. Yet in this environment he managed to produce one of the biggest selling trilogies every that then turned into 3 amazing films. I think if he saw where he was today, which The Hobbit film coming out soon, he would be shocked.

Marilyn Monroe - I adore her, she was gorgeous and in her time 'a plus size mode' I think that took amazing amounts of guts for her. Yes she had her problems and they ended up killing her but in the end she was only human.
