jar full of memories... ♡

I've jumped on the bandwagon and decided to buy a jar and fill it with all my good memories for the year, then open it on new years day with my boyfriend. Now I think this is a wonderful idea, I love remembering stuff from the past year but I always tend to forget the small details and it makes me a little sad. So when I saw this flying around peoples blogs I just knew I had to have one! Now I didn't have a candle jar however I bought this preserving jar off amazon for under a £5! I then used a ribbon from a Lush box set to tie around the body bit of the jar and made my own little sticker for the top. Now it doesn't look perfect I know but I feel it's just perfect for this coming year.

    Your jar is really cute! Mine is just a little soup dish that is black and orange that I never use because its HIDEOUS haha! I love writing out the highlight each day on a slip of paper and popping them in - I can't wait to see which memories surprise me the most on New Year 2014 :) xxx

    I do really love this idea. I think I definitely will join in with everyone, though I just want to know everyone else's memories rather than reread my own! :) It's such a cute idea, I better start hunting for the perfect jar. :) x
